Client Information: Mr. Li;
Shipping Route: Moving from Nanjing to Christchurch;
Case Summary: Mr. Li from Nanjing shipped personal belongings to Christchurch, New Zealand.

Located on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island, Christchurch is also known as the "Garden City." With a population of 340,000, it is New Zealand's third-largest city and the largest city on the South Island, ranking behind Auckland, the largest city, and Wellington, the capital. Christchurch has a rich artistic and cultural atmosphere and hosts a variety of festivals every year. Immigrating and settling here allows you to experience an ambiance entirely different from other cities in New Zealand.
For his move from Nanjing to Christchurch, New Zealand, Mr. Li chose Seapoe Relo through a friend's introduction as the carrier for his international move. Before the move began, Seapoe Relo and Mr. Li signed a contract clarifying the rights and obligations of both parties to ensure the move proceeded smoothly. The moving service items and detailed costs were also specified in the contract.
When the move began, Seapoe Relo staff arrived at the agreed time with packing materials to carry out meticulous packing of the items. Each item was handled strictly in accordance with moving standards, and labels (serial number, precautions) as well as item names were affixed to the outer packaging of each item. During packing, Mr. Li did not need to lift a finger—he only needed to supervise the movers' work throughout. Below is the on-site pickup and packing scene from that day:

After packing was completed, the items were transported to Seapoe Relo's warehouse for further reinforced packaging. Then came container loading and booking, customs declaration and ocean shipping, and once the shipment arrived in New Zealand, customs clearance began. Mr. Li did not need to be present for customs clearance—he only needed to provide the relevant documents (a photocopy of the photo page of his passport and a photocopy of his visa). As for the English-language packing list, ocean bill of lading, and the New Zealand Unaccompanied Personal Baggage Declaration form, Seapoe Relo handled these on his behalf. After customs clearance was completed, the items were delivered to Mr. Li's home as requested, placed in the designated rooms according to his instructions, unwrapped, and simple assembled furniture was reassembled. Finally, all debris generated by the move was cleared away, bringing the move to Christchurch, New Zealand to a successful completion.
What are some things worth noting when moving to New Zealand?

If prohibited items are found, all items may be required to undergo fumigation. If our company discovers prohibited items while packing for the client, we will promptly remind the client.
Second, items that may be inspected:
Vacuum cleaners, gardening tools, bicycles, camping gear, golf equipment, hiking boots, stirrups and saddles, and outdoor furniture—we recommend cleaning these items before the move. Rattan products and food should preferably not be brought along.
