Client Information: Ms. Qiu;
Shipping Route: Sea freight moving from Hefei to Wellington;
Case Summary: Ms. Qiu from Hefei engaged Seapoe Relo to ship her furniture and luggage to Wellington.

Artwork is fragile, and how to ship the items from Hefei to Wellington by sea without damage was a major concern for our client Ms. Qiu. Under Ms. Qiu's guidance, the Seapoe supervisor finished taking inventory of the furniture to be packed and immediately arranged for the workers to begin packing. Ms. Qiu's belongings could not fit into a single full container, and some items needed to be shipped to Wellington via LCL. Considering the distance of international transport from Hefei to Wellington and the risk of loss or damage from unexpected incidents, Ms. Qiu chose Seapoe's risk protection service to guard against potential losses to her belongings.

According to Seapoe's insurance regulations, every item to be moved must be covered within the insurance scope; partial coverage of individual items is not accepted. The full container uses custom-built fumigation-free wooden crates and does not require insurance; only the LCL items need coverage. On the advice of the Seapoe consultant, Ms. Qiu agreed to declare the LCL items under a separate order, so that the full container would not need to be declared and only the LCL items would be insured.
