Client Information: Ms. Chen;
Shipping Route: Moving from Tianjin to Auckland;
Case Summary: Ms. Chen from Tianjin chose Seapoe Relo to ship her furniture and belongings to Auckland by sea.

Auckland is New Zealand's largest city and the country's center for industrial production, commerce, economic development, and commodity trading. It has been rated one of the world's most livable cities for many consecutive years and is the preferred destination for New Zealand immigrants, which is why Ms. Chen from Tianjin ultimately chose to settle in Auckland.
After contacting Seapoe's customer service, Ms. Chen learned that the immigration moving process from Tianjin to New Zealand is not complicated. She only needed to provide copies of her passport, visa, or PR, then fill out and sign the customs documents provided by our company, and she could simply wait at home for her goods to arrive. Since New Zealand has strict inspections on imported personal belongings, many items are prohibited from entry, such as food seeds and animal hides. The items Ms. Chen needed to move were mostly furniture pieces that had been with her for some years and to which she had grown attached, so she was reluctant to throw them away. Moreover, she was concerned she might not find suitable furniture in New Zealand, so she planned to ship these items to her new home there. Because Ms. Chen is a new immigrant and these household items are mostly used, under New Zealand's immigration policy they qualify for duty-free entry, saving her the cost of buying new furniture.
After finalizing the moving plan, Seapoe's packing team went to Ms. Chen's home in Tianjin early in the morning. From morning until evening, they carefully and attentively packed all the furniture and belongings Ms. Chen needed to move, and Ms. Chen was very satisfied with the packers' attitude. Below are photos from the packing site that day:

All consigned furniture and belongings are packed by Seapoe Relo according to standard procedures. Under normal circumstances, furniture receives three layers of packaging:
1. Soft white paper wrapping: The furniture is wrapped entirely in soft white paper to protect the finish and to prevent the finish from sticking to the pearl cotton at high temperatures.
2. Shock-absorbing pearl cotton packaging: Custom-made thickened pearl cotton from Seapoe Relo is fitted around the furniture for better shock absorption.
3. Outer packaging made from high-strength cut cardboard: Five-layer reinforced kraft cardboard is cut to the shape of the furniture for the outer packaging, with packing tape sealing the seams.
After the above packaging, to ensure the safety of international long-distance transport, Seapoe recommended that Ms. Chen have some valuable items shipped in custom-made fumigation-free wooden crates to enhance transport safety. Since the cross-border moving process is lengthy and involves customs inspections at both ends, to avoid damage to the items, in addition to proper packaging protection, Seapoe also recommended that Ms. Chen purchase international personal effects transport insurance for double protection!
